2023 Meeting Agenda and Minutes
Established in January 2023, the Campus Policing and Public Safety Advisory Council serves in an advisory role to promote equity and continuous improvement in College of Marin processes and practices related to campus policing and public safety matters. The Council was established by the Superintendent/President to make recommendations to the superintendent/president and executive management team.
On October 17, 2023, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent/President and Advisory Council Chair, the College of Marin Board of Trustees approved the amended charge of the Campus Policing and Public Safety Advisory Council and authorized the Advisory Council to make recommendations to the Board of Trustees. The Advisory Council shall serve as the District's "public safety advisory committee" pursuant to section 59702 of Title 5 of the California Code of Regulations and make recommendations to the District Governing Board and Superintendent/President.
Because the Advisory Council meetings were not public during 2023, they do not appear in the lists of meetings on the Board Docs page for that year. For convenience, all minutes, agendas, and materials from March 2023 through November 2023 Campus Policing and Public Safety Advisory Council meetings are posted with the January 22, 2024 meeting materials.
